CTE | EPSO | STEM



The Oneida Special School District offers a variety of opportunities to students in grades 6-12 focusing on Career & Technical Education (CTE) and Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics (STEM). Students in 11-12 grades with qualifying academic credentials are eligible to participate in Early Post-Secondary Opportunities (EPSO) and Work-Based Learning (WBL). Students at OHS have the opportunity to participate in School-Based Enterprises as well.

The following enrichment courses are available at Oneida Middle School to introduce students to STEM-related careers and to prepare them for high school CTE courses:

The following enrichment courses are available at Oneida High School to support students as they prepare for entering the workforce or a post-secondary institution:

At Oneida High School, two CTE programs of study are currently available for students on campus. Horticulture Science will be added in 2020-21:
  • Human and Social SciencesIntroduction to Human Studies, Lifespan Development, Family Studies
  • Banking and FinanceIntroduction to Business & Marketing, Accounting I, Banking & Finance
  • Horticulture ScienceAgriscience, Principles of Plant Science & Hydroculture, Greenhouse Management
 
As part of the OHS CTE program, students have the opportunity to visit local businesses/industry and post-secondary institutions. A work-based learning program for CTE students will begin implementation during the 2020-21 academic year.

  • Computer Information Technology
  • Building Construction
  • Pharmacy Technician
  • Collision Repair
 
Students who are interested in enrolling in any of the courses listed on this page should speak to the OHS guidance counselor, Mrs. Brittany Martin.
