Homework is given every Tuesday
and is expected to be returned in the homework folder Wednesday morning. Each folder contains a piece of
construction paper and a worksheet.
The worksheet is self-explanatory and should be completed with little
help. Your child should use the
construction paper to paste two pictures that begin with the letter of the
week. And your child should also
write their name at the top of the page.

Encourage
them to do their best
Wal-Mart
or any sale papers are good sources for pictures as well as
magazines.
Be with your child when they are
completing homework
Have
them place homework in homework bag
Have them place homework bag and daily
folder in their backpack
Homework should not take more than
15-20 minutes

Each Friday your child will bring home a letter with a list of skills and the letter of the week. Once we begin reading, on Monday’s you will find a word list that should be practiced EACH night. The words should be practiced until they can be read fluently. Remember the more they practice, the EASIER it will be.
