Be in the seat when the tardy bell rings

 

Bring paper and pencil to class

 

Remain in your seat until dismissed

 

No food or drink allowed in class

 

Respect your classmate            

 

Any make-up work must be made up in a week from the time missed

 

If you must be excused, make-up the time at the break

 

Keep all objects to yourself 

 

Class assignments that are done in class

must be turned in at the end of class

Weekly vocabulary tests   20 %

Projects                  35%

            SYLLABUS :  1ST Sem 

 

Res./Writing

 

Students will learn the complete process

of research in order to write a research

paper.

For each type of essay the following             

procedure is followed: prewrite, rough

draft, peer review, and final copy will be written.

 

For the research paper students will choose a topic, find references, develop

 

 

a preliminary outline,complete notecards, write a rough draft,  revise,

and write the final copy.

 

 

 

American Literature : 2nd Sem.

 

Objectives:

 

Students will read and recognize the        

different types of genre for each period of time.

 

Students will evaluate the writer’s ideas.

 

Students will broaden their vocabulary.

 

Students will do a project each  6 wks.

consisting of  10 short stories, 8 plays, and  1 novel.
